I was reading through the Fotbalfrue’s recap of her year and this one picture just sent me off to dreamland.  I am recreating this moment over the summer – delicious cold salads, fresh seafood, tapas, a glass of Moscato and a poolside looking out over the ocean.  Followed of course by running around on the beach, going for a swim, sunbathing, and more delicious food and wine again later.  Aside from the fact that I can’t indulge in any of that while I’m pregnant, I would love to just go now when it’s freezing here.

So instead why not go on a little dream vacation instead?  Pinterest and Tripadvisor are always good for some help with that!  We’ll go on a two part journey, one destination for the day and another for the evening.  Today I’d pick the Four Seasons Resort in Koh Samui, Thailand.  During a perfect resort day I want there to be a variety of things to do and places to soak up the sun, and the Four Seasons has plenty of gorgeous spots to lounge.  Since its a dream vacation, that means waking up with the dawn to watch it rise from the private balcony.

Of course, the first order of real business would have to be breakfast, here amongst the palm trees with sweeping ocean views which I love. < >

They also have a gorgeous spot for some relaxing morning yoga, and a spa including massages on the beach under the shade of a palm grove.  Heaven.

I’d probably spend the most time close to the gorgeous white sand beach though.  The rest of the day is for swimming and sunning!

I know exactly where I would spend the evening too, at the Capella Pedregal Resort in Cabo San Lucas.   I just came across this picture and fell in love…

Can you imagine just coming out from a relaxing warm shower, with that delicious scrubbed feeling you get after washing off a long day in the sun and walking out to this?

After admiring the view from the balcony and then the pool area I imagine it would be a short stroll to the restaurant, El Farallon, which from the looks of it would be an unforgettable way to view the sunset and spend a long leisurely evening meal laughing over drinks.

How fun would this be with a few couples together?  I absolutely love the lanterns and twinkle lights everywhere, plus the mountains to one side and then the sea?  Amazing.

I love the idea of eating here with a group, but if I were going here with just my sweetheart I would have to go for this – an incredible view, toes in the sand, seafood feast on the beach.  That is pure romance right there.

If the resort weren’t so remote, ending the night dancing would be perfection, but there isn’t a club at the resort.  Still, walking along the property and enjoying its beauty by night, especially along the beach, sounds perfect too.

Looking around there website they also have beachside fires at night, I wonder if they have marshmallows?

Ending the night, I’d have to head back to hot tubs and those amazing pools.  Look at the view from the inside of it… spectacular.

I hope you enjoyed today’s two dream destinations, and maybe get inspired to visit someplace warm to get out of this polar freeze we’re in.

  4. Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The words in your content seem to be running off the screen in Ie.

I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with web browser compatibility
but I thought I’d post to let you know. The design and style look great though!

Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Many thanks

  5. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My site has a lot of unique content I’ve either authored myself
or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement.
Do you know any solutions to help stop content from being ripped off?
    I’d genuinely appreciate it.
