Artist Spotlight
If you haven’t already seen the artwork of Andres Amador circulating the internet, allow me to be the first to introduce you. This natural world artist creates beautiful patterns and images on sandy beaches during low tide, on a massive scale, and the results are so lovely.
These images were all taken off his facebook page which has many more beautiful examples of his art, it is worth going through at length. It looks like he will also do projects and commissions for engagements, weddings, charity – now that would be a unique experience no one is likely to forget.
When asked why he makes these works, Amador stated simply, “because it was fun,” and that he got to be at the beach.
It looks so peaceful and serene, I can imagine taking up this up as a hobby if I lived closer to a beach, it seems like the perfect way to relax and enjoy being on the ocean.
I always loved the idea of those zen rock gardens, and this is like that on a larger scale. Someone said these images are made even more beautiful by the fact that they are fleeting, they disappear when the tide comes back in. Andres said his art is more about the process than the result. I like this – enjoy the journey, it’s the best part.
It’s hard to come by experienced people about this topic,
but you seem like you know what you’re talking about!
Thanks
